This is a re-upload of an earlier torrent that was corrupted by an errant .tmp file. This has been now been removed. This is a collection of LPs and 45rmp 12"EP in my collection transcribed with a $2500 Lyra Helikon SL MC cartridge into a $15,000 custom built tube phono stage. Everything was ran on balanced AC power. The EPs are a little dated (mid 1980s or so, which is when I got them), but has some excellent material that is also excellent sounding-great dynamics, bass extension and warm analog sound. If you are unsure why there still exist devotees to the vinyl sound, take a listen to the track 'Traction in the Rain' by David Crosby here. Although there is surface noise (it was a $2 used LP) the audio replay is quite staggering. Another stand out recording is Louis Armstrongs 'St James Infirmary'-even though it was recorded in the late 1950s, it sounds fresher, more alive and more dynamic than about anything released in the last 25 years. The EPs include material by The Fine Young Cannibals, Soft Cell, Culture Club, The Cult, Frankie Goes to Hollywood etc. Some of the LP cuts were sourced from direct-to-disk LPs
